Welcome to the new Once Upon a Wednesday challenge with the Pixie Cottage! This week we are all honored to work with the fabulous Suzanne Dean from Scrap Bitz. Suzanne has provided us with an inspiring sketch and our theme this week is Vintage/Distressed.I was so excited for this week because it was the perfect theme for using my new Prima floral ribbon! I bought this on clearance at Joann's crafts...can you believe it, two of my favorite words in one paragraph...clearance and Prima! :)
I used the beautiful Simply the Best rose by the very talented ArTish. I simply sponged 3 shades of brown and one pale green and it was done! My papers are La Creme' by DCWV. I stitched that fabulous ribbon in place.

Elegant card, Peggy! I love the colors. I am always afraid to use black on my cards and I have never used it, but in yours looks great:)
Great card; elegant, classic, and so chic! Love the use of ribbon in it but the gentle colors and elgance just look really wonderful.
