Looking for the Skipping Stones Blog Hop? Scroll Down for fun prizes!Welcome to the weekly Once Upon a Wednesday Challenge with the Pixie Cottage. This week our theme is Paper Tole. We want to see you cut out your images and pop up sections. We also have a team sketch. Like all of our challenges, you can choose the theme or the sketch or both!
Michelle has some great prizes for our winner.

Here is our fun sketch of the week! For my card this week, I used the new "Bunny with Roses" by the super talented Di Carubia. Isn't he just the cutest!
I water colored the image with my distress inks and popped up the roses with dimensionals. Of course I had to add stickles for that sparkle I love SO much.
I used a variety of spellbinders dies for the shapes and my papers are a Bronze Mica/Metallic and Cherrywood Lane DP by Heidi Grace.

Welcome to a new Skipping Stones Design's Blog Hop. Today we get to celebrate the release of two new stamp sets, Holy Carp and Home of the Brave. If you just happened upon my blog today, you will want to go back to the beginning at Skipping Stones Design.
You should have arrived from Deb Felts blog.

Today is also Skipping Stones Sketch Tuesday which means the Design Team is showcasing another great creation from Jen del Muro. We'd love for you to play along with the sketch. Just remember to use the keywords SSD025 if you are uploading to any online galleries or link your card at the Skipping Stones Blog. We'll be looking soon for Guest Designers so you never know....

Here is Jen's awesome sketch

I was so excited to use the Home of the Brave set for todays card. I stamped the fireworks with red ink and then heat embossed. I then sponged a night sky and added stickles for my stars. I used a couple of beautiful papers from the Paper Temptress. Jupiter Mica/metallic, White diamond and sky blue crepe.

GIVEAWAY!
Leave me a comment about the new stamps and I will draw a winner on Monday the 24th for this adorable stamp set!

Recycled Creations

Good morning and Happy Monday! I just wanted to share this card with you all because I did a lot of crafting this weekend. A wonderful Etsy customer of mine asked me to re-create some of my past works for her and I agreed. I like to keep my creations one of a kind so I changed the colors and the papers but kept the layout the same. I was really happy with how it turned out.
Patricia at The Paper Temptress sent me a new water color paper to try. It is called HQ Water color paper. At first I was a little skeptical because it is thinner than my normal WC paper but the texture was really beautiful. Once I stamped on it, I was hooked. The image came out much darker and clearer than my Strathmore and Canson WC papers. When I painted, it absorbed just as fast as the others as well. I am hooked.
I finished my card with a Cappucino Mica/Metallic and Basis burgundy cardstock. My DP is DCWV Once Upon a Time collection.
