Delightful things for Thursday!

Today I get to showcase this adorable image "Smiling Fish" from Digital Delights by Louby Loo! Isn't he just the cutest little guy!
I sponged my undersea background using distress inks and a sponge dauber. The sand was created using torn paper as my template and three shades of brown. The water was 3 shades of blue. My seaweed was created using a couple of foliage stamps from Skipping Stones Design. I heat embossed them so that I could sponge right over the top without changing their color.
I colored my fish with Prismacolor pencils and blended them using my odorless mineral spirits. Stickles and dimensional adhesive finish off the little guy.
I used this fun sketch from the Midnight Madness challenge.

Tooty Fruity!

This week we have an awesome sketch at Skipping Stones Design! The amazing Kim Kesti of Papercrafts has created a fun sketch and the sky is the limit with this one.

Not only do we have a great sketch for you this week but I am also excited to give you a sneak peek at some of Augusts new releases. This fun and versatile set features mouth watering fruits and fun and funky sayings. Watch for "Friendly Fruit" at the Skipping Stones Stamp Store.
I made these three 3" square notecards using some of the fun fruit and lots of shimmery paper from the Paper Temptress. Inside the cards say "Juicy News!"
I hope you will join us for the challenge this week, there are prizes to be won!
