New releases at The Pixie Cottage and a giveaway!

There is some exciting news at the Pixie Cottage this week! Here is a sneak peek at one of the NEW RELEASES! I was so excited to see this beautiful butterfly and couldn't wait to ink it up.
Unfortunately, my mojo made like Elvis and left the building. I have no idea what was wrong with me! I colored the beautiful flowers and then didn't like the color, then I added a new color and thought it was too dark...so I added another color to brighten up. You know what I got? BROWN flowers! Nothing says thinking of you like brown wilted flowers eh! So, what is a girl to do when her coloring goes astray? Cover it with flower soft!

Between the jumbled flowers and the purple stickles gone wrong...I was less than thrilled with the outcome but the stamp really is beautiful! :) I will give it another go once the creative juices are flowing once again.

There are so many gorgeous stamps that are coming to the Pixie Cottage. Stay tuned for more to come!

This weeks challenge for Once Upon a Wednesday is a sketch and or a pocket or tag. (see comment about flowers above) I wasn't about to try a pocket :)
This weeks gorgeous sketch was provided by the wonderfully talented Bev Rochester.
I would love to see you join us this week for great prizes!
Leave me a comment and you will be entered to win this brand new rubber stamp! I will choose a winner on Monday! (Please make sure I can either find your email address on your profile or leave me one!)Challenges:

Holy Carp it's sketch Tuesday!

Welcome to the always fun, never boring, Sketch Tuesday at Skipping Stones!. I am absolutely loving this new, hilarious set called "Holy Carp". It has so many fantastic sayings that are perfect for that guy in your life. Just look at the face on that fish!
I actually made this card for my Dad's birthday coming up this weekend. He loves to fish but rarely comes home with the "big one!" I think he and my husband just talk about the HUGE fish that barely got away, over and over again...I'm sure you know the one.

We have our last sketch by Jen Del Muro (sniff, sniff) for you to try this week. Jen has been amazing and I have had so much fun with her sketches and creative genius this month.
