New Releases at Digital Delights by Loo!

Hey everyone, it's new release time at Digital Delights by Louby Loo. Check out these adorable images Wendy created for us this month! I've used Scrubbie Sue and Floatie. How cute is she?

For my card I printed Scrubbie Sue out on Neenah Solar White and colored her with my Prismacolor pencils and Turpenoid (OMS). I layered her to create a paper tole effect and accented the image with crystal effects and Stickles. The pale blue paper I used is from the Ruche line at the Paper Temptress. It is an awesome textured paper, with a good weight behind it. It almost looks embossed without lifting a finger :) I also used the cappucino Mica/metallic paper that I LOVE. It is just so sparkly and I do love my sparkle!

Come and check out the other new releases at Digital Delights!

Make an aperature card with The Pixie Cottage!

It's time for another Once Upon A Wednesday with the Pixie Cottage and we have another fabulous Special Guest Sketch Artist and this time it's Dawny P from The Pink Piggy!

Along with the sketch we have the added option of making an Aperture card.
If you don't know what that means, it is simply a window on the front of your card looking in.
The team samples should give you some ideas if you want to try the technique as well (or instead of) the sketch.

You don't have to use a Pixie Cottage Stamp to enter but if you do have why not try out!
Remember you can use the sketch, the theme or both and can combine our challenge with any others you like!

One randomly picked winner will get their choice of 2 Pixie Cottage Stamps and the Design Teams Top Three entries will get to display the winners badge on their blog.
Winners will be announced on the Friday following the end of the challenge.

Our guest designer for both July and August will be Lisa and Tracy! Make sure to take a look at all the samples this week and leave them some love!
