Creating with PriscillaStyles!

I am so excited to announce that I have been chosen for the brand new Priscillastyles Store Design Team! I am in great company too! Each of the members are tremendously talented.
Today I get to show you a brand new digi called "Steamer Trunk with flowers" This fun image can be found in Priscillastyles digi shop, along with many gorgeous images.

I paper pieced this image using Core'dinations paper that I distressed to make the trim appear worn and lighter in color. The inside lining of the trunk is Cosmo Cricket DP that matches the DP on the card front. I used flower soft in my vase to add a little fluff :)
This awesome sketch is from the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.

Once Upon a Wednesday...Back to school!

Welcome to a brand new Challenge with the Pixie Cottage. This week we are challenging you to go back to school! You can choose to combine the theme with our sketch this week or you can do one or the other...isnt that easy! This weeks sketch was a blast and designed by our very own Pam!
Not only did I have a great sketch to work with but I also got to ink up a brand new Hannah by Sandra Hammer. This stamp says back to school to me. If you ask most children what they like best about school, most of them will tell you recess. My fondest memories of recess are swinging with my best friends on the playground...ah those were the days!
My card looks naked to me! I always stitch my cards but my sewing machine needs a good cleaning and oiling and I didn't have time to do both the maintenance and the creating :) I will get it done by next week I promise!

Card Recipe:

Stamps: The Pixie Cottage - Hannah on a Swing
Paper: Wild Asparagus DP, Bazzill Cardstock, HQ Watercolor Paper
Ink: Distress Ink, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Tombow Markers
Accessories: Glue Dots, Sponges, Wild Orchid Flowers, ribbon, Basic Gray pearls

Stamp Sneak peek at Skipping Stones! and a Winner!

Welcome to this weeks sketch challenge at Skipping Stones Design! This week I am excited to give you a peek at a brand new stamp set..."Always There" Let me tell you, it is gorgeous!

I also have a new and exciting sketch this week from Maren.
I decided to use these beautiful butterflies and lots of stickles! I also tried this fun ribbon technique that my friend True did a tutorial on a few days ago...while mine isn't quite as flawless as hers...I still like the effect and it is a great way to use ribbon scraps that we all hate to throw away! You can check out her tutorial HERE.

Okay...I almost forgot to announce a Blog Hop winner! I can't believe it and I am so sorry to anyone that was waiting.
the winner of the $10 gift certificate to Skipping Stones is,
