There is some exciting news at the Pixie Cottage this week! Here is a sneak peek at one of the NEW RELEASES! I was so excited to see this beautiful butterfly and couldn't wait to ink it up.
Unfortunately, my mojo made like Elvis and left the building. I have no idea what was wrong with me! I colored the beautiful flowers and then didn't like the color, then I added a new color and thought it was too dark...so I added another color to brighten up. You know what I got? BROWN flowers! Nothing says thinking of you like brown wilted flowers eh! So, what is a girl to do when her coloring goes astray? Cover it with flower soft!
Between the jumbled flowers and the purple stickles gone wrong...I was less than thrilled with the outcome but the stamp really is beautiful! :) I will give it another go once the creative juices are flowing once again.
There are so many gorgeous stamps that are coming to the Pixie Cottage. Stay tuned for more to come!
This weeks challenge for Once Upon a Wednesday is a sketch and or a pocket or tag. (see comment about flowers above) I wasn't about to try a pocket :)

Wow... that stitching is pure perfection. I could never hope to have mine look that good (which is why I usually distress at the same time, so that people think I made it crooked on purpose!) LOL
