New Pixie Cottage Challenge and challenge news!

Welcome to the New and Improved Pixie Cottage Challenge.

We will be holding our challenges EVERY week starting today!
In addition to more chances to win great prizes from Michelles Scrapbooking and More, we have made it even easier to participate. Each week we will have a sketch and/or a theme. It is your choice to use the theme of the week or the sketch or both!
This week we have a sketch and a theme.

The theme is Wet or Dry embossing.

My card this week features one of Lisa Schmidts GIRLS OF THE WORLD line. Lisa started out with a Dutch girl Janneke, a Scottish girl Maggie, and, the image I used, a sweet little girl from Ireland, Cassidy. I am really hoping that Lisa sketches many more of these little cuties!
I wet embossed my image and then paper pieced and watercolored. My background is sponged with Distress inks.

Card Recipe:
Paper - K&Company, Bazzil swiss dots CS, Strathmore 140lb WC paper.
Ink - TH Distress, Versafine
Accessories - Spellbinders dies, Ribbon, Brads, Flowers from Wild Orchids Crafts, Madeira Thread.

Challenges:
For Fun Challenge - Flowers/rain showers/spring
Flourishes - Use what you bought! (my new pack of K&Company paper!)
Prairie Fairy - Texture
Crafty Creations - Paper Piecing
Just add Ink - Just add.....ink
One Stitch at a Time - Anything Goes
Pollycraft - Anything Goes
S2G - Anything Goes
