Reviving Ebay and Digi Images

I had the Halloween bug and decided to use this cute digi image from Maurie Manning, creator of Digital Pencil Too. I think her images are just too cute.
I used 2 layers of Bazzill card stock and then put a layer of black screen mesh over the top. I stitched it in place using Madeira thread. The image was printed on whisper white card stock by Stampin' Up! and then colored using Prisma pencels and OMS. I popped up the image on the bat mask and the large pumpkin for added dimension. Satin ribbon and black dew drops complete the card!

I haven't posted on Ebay in months but have decided to revive my Ebay account. I will have my cards for sale linked on the side of my blog. If you see something you like, go ahead and bid!

Playful Pixie - CDS

Good afternoon everyone. As the month of August draws to an end, so does my term with CDS. It has been such a blast working with all of these lovely and talented artists. I hope you have enjoyed viewing my projects as much as I enjoyed making them. If you haven't had a chance to work with CDS stamps, you should give it a try. They are so easy to use with clear crisp edges.
This is my last project using the CDS August release stamps. This set, Playful Pixies, can be purchased HERE.

I really wanted her little wings to stand out so I found a great iridescent paper in my stash and stamped and cut out her wings. Once those were glued I popped up her little body, watercolored and added stickles for a touch of whimsy. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to add dimension to my Bazzil cardstock and layered DCWV DP from the summer stack. Once stitched I added the ribbon, the hardware and a rosette that has been colored with Copics to match the color scheme.

Another Card with CDS Sails, Subs and Tugs set

Here I used another stamp from the Sails, subs and tugs set from CDS. If you like what you see, you can purchase the set HERE!
I used a decorative base from The Paper Company and layered it with patterned paper from DCWV. To add a little more dimension to the background I used ribbon from my stash.
I created a frame using some Stardream cardstock and my nesties. I sponged 3 shades of blue onto some Whisper white from Stampin up and added my watercolored sub. Dewdrops shaded with copic markers and a gold curly-Q complete the card!

Pansy Stamp Set - CDS August Release

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent mine trying to catch up on my card making and laundry! Guess which one was more fun :)
Today I have another card made with the Pansy set from Clear Dollar Stamps. For this card, I made the sentiment that comes with it the highlight of the card and just layered a few pansies around the edges. I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress ink and used a K&Company vintage looking paper. Dew drops and lots of stitching complete this card.
the Pansies were stamped, heat embossed, watercolored and then glazed with crystal effects. I love all the pinks in this card!

Sailing the Seas

This adorable sailboat is part of the new CDS August release called Sails, Subs and Tugs. The set includes a submarine, a tugboat, this sailboat and various matching sentiments.

I watercolored the image and applied it to a background that was sponged with stampin' UP! inks. My dp was embossed using my Cuttlebug and spritzed with glimmer mist. I love the way the grommet added just the right amount of bling!

For my card, I stamped my little pixie on velum to create the wings and then popped her up with watercolor paper. For her tutu I used puffy velvet to create a great texture.
